Eine erste Version für einen Sage 100-Client ohne Microsoft Access ist für Frühjahr 2024 geplant.

Für eine Übergangszeit wird es somit zwei Clients geben, bis MS-Access ganz entfallen ist.

Wahrscheinlich wird es keine Möglichkeit geben, in "der Shell" (wie Sage die eigene Basisinfrastruktur darunter nennt) eigene Plugins zu hosten.

Das steht aber noch nicht endgültig fest!

Wichtig: Das "Aufgaben Center" entfällt vollständig für diesen Client!

Unsere Einschätzung: Es wird noch eine ganze Weile dauern, bis ein Client ohne MS-Access zur Verfügung steht, der wirklich zur Zufriedenheit aller Kunden (mehr oder weniger) das bietet, was zum effizienten, und aktuellen Sage 100 vergleichbaren Umfang, mindestens notwendig ist! 😉

A first version for a Sage 100 client without Microsoft Access is planned for spring 2024.

Thus, there will be two clients for a transitional period until MS Access is no longer needed.

There will probably not be a way to host custom plugins in "the shell" (as Sage refers to the basic infrastructure system unterneath the client).

However, this is not decided yet!

Important: The "Aufgaben Center" is completely omitted for this client!

Our assessment: It will still be quite a while before a client without MS Access is available that offers to the satisfaction of all customers (more or less) what is at least necessary for the efficient (and comparable) scope of the current Sage 100! 😉
