Dieses Tool erlaubt es, mit einer guten UX/UI sehr leicht vorhandene SQL-Berechtigungsstrukturen für ein ausgewähltes Security-Prinzipal zu extrahieren und in eine andere SQL-Server-Instanz zu übernehmen.

Das Tool generiert ein lesbares SQL-Script, welches alle notwendigen Schritte für ein Security-Prinzipial anzeigt.

Dieses SQL-Script lässt sich dann leicht als Basis für eine Iteration verwenden, um weitere Prinzipale zu übernehmen (ohne Kennwort-Identifizierung dann).

Anmerkung: Es geht bei diesem Tool um Microsoft SQL-Server-Berechtigungen , nicht um applikationsspezfische Berechtigungen von Software wie z.B. Sage ERP.

Eine Verwendung im Sage ERP-Umfeld ist daher nur bedingt sinnvoll.

In Projekten mit eigenen Microsoft Datenbanken mit komplexen Berechtigungen ist das Tool jedoch sehr hilfreich!

Eine Registrierung als AddIn direkt im Microsoft SQL-Server wird ebenfalls angeboten (nicht getestet).

Das Tool ist nach einer Registrierung per E-Mail kostenlos herunterladbar.

With a good UX/UI, this tool makes it very easy to extract existing SQL authorization structures for a selected security principal and transfer them to another SQL server instance.

The tool generates a readable SQL script that shows all the necessary steps for a security principal.

This SQL script can then easily be used as a basis for an iteration to take over further principals (without password identification, then).

Note: This tool is about Microsoft SQL Server authorizations, not application-specific permissions of software products like Sage ERP.

The use in any Sage ERP environment is therefore only of limited purpose.

However, the tool is very helpful in projects with your own Microsoft databases with complex authorizations!

Registration as an add-in directly in the Microsoft SQL server is also offered (not tested).
